The North American manufacturing capacity of SSR qualifying as “Buy America” is estimated to be currently about 120,000 tons. There are also a number of European mills which export bars into North America supplying the non-Buy America segment of the market comprising mainly Canada.
A number of stainless steel reinforcement fabrication plants are located across North America with varying degrees of experience. A few within this group have facilities dedicated strictly to this product.
